Burnout Stretch Fabric
Burnout fabric, also known as devoré, is a specialised textile technique that creates a pattern by selectively dissolving fibres within a blended fabric. This process results in a soft, textured finish with detailing that adds depth and visual interest to each garment.
Composition: 49% Polyester, 46% Rayon, 5% Elastane.
How to Care
We recommend washing on a gentle cycle at a cool temperature, ideally with a colour-safe detergent. Remember not to use a fabric softener. To preserve the qualities of the garment, reshape gently while wet. Lay flat to dry or hang it to dry in a shaded area.
Fleur Collective's fabric holds colour exceptionally well; however, we do recommend you wash your garment separately prior to wear to make sure no residual dye is lingering on the garment.
When caring for your garment, follow the instructions on the care label.
This fabric base is naturally crease-resistant, but if you decide to iron your garment, ensure to use a cool iron setting against the reverse side of the garment.
What to Look Out For
When wearing your garment, be aware of coarse, sharp and abrasive surfaces, for example, jewellery, hard textured seats, and walls. They can cause fabric abrasions such as pilling or snagging. The frayed design edges may naturally alter in the wash over time*
How to Store
You can store your Burnout fabric base garment on a hanger or folded.
