Mavis Dress in Perfect Peony

Absolutely adore this gorgeous dress. Slinky fabric is a dream to wear and it can be dressed up or down. Well above my ankles and I’m 158cms tall.

I love this new style! Mavis is swishy and elegant, and I love the longer, gathered sleeves. Personally this print colourway is my favourite of the three produced, and the slinky fabric makes it feel fabulous on; I'm surprised it hasn't sold out already! I prefer fixed wraps like Mavis, as one can just thrown them on and no adjusting needed. As another reviewer mentions this design can be casual or formal, which makes it versatile. I had an issue with the first dress I received, however a quick phone call and Summer arranged a replacement quickly - thanks Summer! I've included a photo for the vertically challenged to see that it works well - I'm 157cm tall and a size 16 for reference.

This dress is beautiful, comfortable and easy to wear. The sleeves only have the tiniest bit of gathering at the top, which is great as it makes them not too puffy! Lovely fit.

Mavis is one of my favorite fixed wrap dresses. The swish to the skirt sings in the Perfect Peony print.

I absolutely love the fit of the Mavis and the colours in this fabrication are just beautiful. I have an earlier version of this style and she is on constant rotation. As a tall girl, the length is perfect and the fixed wrap means no fiddling throughout the day - just pure comfort. I'm hoping for more in this style next season.

I bought this dress to wear for my partners birthday party, and it was ideal.
It is flattering in colour, and the fixed wrap crossover in the top of really flexible, and shows of the girls without too much cleavage on show.
I got a heap of compliments, my partner loved my new outfit... And it had pockets! What else could one gal need?

I’m thrilled with my new Made-For-You Mavis Dress in Jade! The Mavis style is absolutely stunning and flattering to wear, it’s a fixed wrap midi dress with a deep ruffle which creates a beautiful swishy movement when you move. It would be fabulous if you could provide a matching separate tie belt with it the next time you bring out a Mavis dress, as it would allow you to wear the dress with varied styling. I found it difficult to decide between the available jewel colours and am over the moon with the Jade I finally chose, it’s so elegant.

Stunning dress. This is the magnificient magenta Mavis. The colour is sublime. The cut is flattering and elegant. With the right accessories, this would absolutely work as a black-tie cocktail frock or as a wedding guest dress. The swishy skirt is beautiful. 5 out of 5 stars.

Light, bright, airy, easy to wear! That’s Mavis in Amalfi in 6 words. So many compliments from wearing this happy, swishy little dress. I’m a size 20 and it’s so flattering. I paused before purchasing thinking the large format print might make me look even bigger, but because it isn’t a uniform direction, it has quite the reverse impact! A bit like camouflage! Go for it ladies! Would, as always love the sleeves to the elbow, but hey, that’s just me! Don’t miss this one!

This is the perfect dress for my shape and height. My waist is relatively large in proportion to my bust, and the fixed wrap sits nicely across the bust while allowing room in the waist. It sits on the lower calf on my 162 cms, and doesn’t seem long because of the lovely swishy frill hem. I wasn’t too sure about the Amalfi print in photos, but it’s the perfect mix of colours for my now predominately white hair and freckly complexion. Even the sleeves accomodate my generous biceps! Well done L&F!

The Mavis Dress is my favourite fixed wrap dress! It has the most flattering shape of any jersey dress I have worn, perfect length sleeves, perfect a-line mid-length hemline, with a flattering deep frill. Amalfi print is amazing! Please make more prints in this style.! 💗

My first Mavis but won’t be my last. Very flattering style and perfect mid length for my 165cm height. Loved the Amalfi colours so much I couldn’t decide between a dress or top so of course I had to have both. Gorgeous style and colour combination.

Looking forward to the weather warming up so that I can wear this beautiful dress! This is my second Mavis. It's a flattering easy to wear style. The Amalfi print is bright and so much fun. The range of colours in the print will mean lots of different styling options too!

I’ve been searching for a classic LBD for a while and I’ve found her. Mavis would suit multiple occasions & could be easily dressed up or down depending upon accessories, coats and shoes. I have mainly wrap dresses, so it’s lovely to have a fixed wrap that I don't have to adjust or fidget with. She’s nice and long for us tall girls. Pockets are the icing on the cake!

Beautiful fabric, cut and colour as usual. I will have to wait a few weeks at least to wear it when the weather is warmer, but luckily for me I have other Leina and Fleur dresses to wear in the meantime!

What a beautiful dress is the Sumi Mavis dress!
I already owned a top in the Sumi fabric and was thrilled when I was able to buy her in the recent sales.
The style of dress (fixed wrap) is SO flattering (I am size 18 and 175cm tall) and I just love the colours!

Fantastic colours, the skirt drapes beautifully and the pockets are the icing on the cake. This is my first fixed wrap , I usually buy Milly as I love the empire line dresses. Mavis did not disappoint, she feels so good to wear.

Purchased Mavis in Sumi at the recent sale. This print is perfect, I'm a blue girl thru and thru.
Regrettably Mavis isn't for me, the shape and fit was great. My problem with Mavis is the sleeve length being too short for me. I raised my arms and when I lowered them the sleeve was clumped under my arm, NOT a good look. Mavis with a longer sleeve would have been a keeper.

A blue watercolour wonder! This dress feels sumptuous. Lovely swirl at the bottom. I will use my navy tanner belt to break the pattern at the waist.

This is a classic black dress and will take me from a corporate event to dinner. Love the fit of Mavis for my shape!

I have a few Mavis dresses and this one is just stunning! The dress in person so to speak is even lovelier than on the screen, flows when you walk and fits/skims just as it should. Gorgeous!

I honestly don’t think I have ever felt more beautiful than in this dress! The cut, colour, shape and pattern is perfect! It perfectly hugs my curves but not in a way that emphasises them or makes me feel overweight! I have never been disappointed with L&F, but this dress is my absolute favourite!!
